more dreams

First bona-fide Burning Man stress dream. Dreamed I either got sick or was fed drugs that made me sick, and that I slept the entire week and missed everything. I woke up when everyone was packing up. Then, to make everything worse, I started blaming all of my friends and campmates, screaming at them about how they should have woken me up. I missed the tree, I misssed the burn, I missed my show, I missed derby, I missed everything. I woke up really relieved to know I had neither really missed anything nor recently treated my friends like a complete tool, but otherwise tired and upset. I don't want to be tired and upset, I want to be well-rested and happy! I need to start getting to sleep earlier, I think.

I have fallen out of the habit of doing a bit of yoga in the mornings (and occasionally evenings). I should pick it up again.

Do any of you yoga people have a morning or evening practice that you like? I have a video called AM/PM yoga, but, for some reason I always feel really dorky following a video. Maybe it's a reaction against the soothing new age music they put with it, I dunno. Plus the one that I have is nice and mild for the morning, but it's a little bit *too* mild...

One good thing about the weeks whizzing by at hyperspeed is that it is payday again already today.

Poop.

My Ion is extra-toasty. While it had the same symptoms as the trouble last time, (which resulted in the best-case scenario of a one-day fix and a bill under $100) this time it's different. Apparently the trouble lies somewhere in the digital to analog conversion, and they need to send it to the mothership to figure out precisely where.

This definitely means I won't have it for my show at Burning Man, and depending on the eventual repair bill, it might not be worth even fixing at all.

Blah.

Maybe I should just do an improv heavy, mostly saxophone set or something. I could substitute with the prophet, but it's unreliable as is- has signs of wear on the contacts again - and I don't feel comfortable bringing it to the desert. Hrm.

are you kidding?

...and then my laptop decided to die, too.

Awesome!
