Back from Michigan
Apr. 26th, 2009 07:54 pmDerby in Grand Rapids was really fun. I feel like I could have definitely played better, but we had a great time. And we won! It was a nailbiter of a game, too... we owned the first half and kept them to 7 points, but they came back with a vengence in the 2nd and it came down to the last jam. We won by only a 10 point spread, which is pretty negligible in derby-land.
I believe MNRG also continued its reputation for winning the after party. For my part, I drank more than I should have on an empty stomach, stayed up really late, and learned how fun it is to take an early flight after that. (Not very.) After a long nap and Pho deliciousness and Vietnamese coffee from Jasmine26 I'm starting to feel like a human being again. Yay. Time for fluffy tv and movies in bed!
