Day of showings turned out to be pretty uneventful- got an email that the one on the east side we were going to see rented already, and the turret apartment in the mansion is super cool but waaaay too small for us. It's a sad reality that there's just no way we'll be able to pay anything near the same in rent for the same amount of space we have here. Grr. Haven't heard anything about the open house at the art co-op, but that's the one my heart is getting set on even though I haven't seen the space and that it's a longshot that we'd get it. So. Meh. Idonwanmove. *pout*

Consider bombastinator's place, and maybe we can set up a little toolshop in the basement. There's garage space available for motorbikes, too.

whereabouts do you want to move? and what do you want your place to look like?
i have a friend whose husband is a caretaker at the place they are at (off of 280 & university in st. paul) that is right by an organic market & a hop and a skip from a community garden. i'm looking of moving there with my boy in the next few months...

i am having moving problems.... the places i've looked at have some small problems, like being 1/2 the size of my current room, or no heating whatsoever...
