I got my taxes sent in today. And my rent credit refund. Awww, yeah.

I'm a bad motorcycle Mom, and forgot to take the battery out before I let it sit all winter. So, instead of taking my bike home like I thought I would, I took the battery home to charge it up. If I'm lucky, it will still hold a charge okay.

Work was pretty good, but my computer is still being lame. It did the restarty thing twice while I was trying to run a backup utility. *sigh* I pulled it open and blew out the dust with canned air- the fans work fine, so I guess I'll go get a new power supply next and see if that helps. My boss's computer (exact same as mine) has been doing the same thing, but not as much. Awesome.

Kinda tired, but doing okay. Excited to see my brother and figment this weekend.

Come to derby!! Last chance of the season!!

Good job on the taxes. Were they complex or something? Was someone holding out on their W2 or something?

Definitely coming to derby. Hope there are still tickets when I get paid.

No, they were easy-peasy- this is the first year in many I haven't done freelance work so having a single W2 instead of, you know, 10, is really nice! I'm mainly just excited I got them done before the deadline.

Awesome! See ya saturday!

Good luck with battery, remember to top up the battery when charging! (also, remember that bike sometimes has a hard time starting for the first time in springtime. If charging the battery doesn't get it going, this has worked for me: disconnect battery, hook the cables directly to a car battery with jumper cables... the extra juice reallly gets the spark plugs firing the first time. Let it run for a minute, then turn it off and try it again with your normal battery)

I went back to my motorcycle (the BMW K75) after the winter, I didn't think it would be a problem because it isn't so cold here. Same problem, battery dead. Except in this case, I can't figure out how to get it out! There is a lot of stuff in the way. There are pictures of each step in the manual, but they don't seem to match reality (and it's in Dutch). Grrrrr.

Tricky! Dunno if I'll get back to try it before the weekend, but we'll see. It's a busy weekend. Last year it turned over with surprisingly little convincing (certainly less than when we picked it up from your Mom's the year before, which attempts I believe included a series of failed pop starts down the driveway and may have eventually needed a jump, though I can't remember exactly.)
I bought the current battery new last year, and having that solved a lot, but not all, of its sluggish starting tendencies.
