buh bye

I don't have a motorcycle anymore. I do have a pocketful of cash.
I feel like it was the right choice, but I'm a little more bummed out than I thought I'd be.

Iwannanotherone.

There's a vintage bike auction not too far away next month.

Hmm.

I just (finally!) took mine in to Roy's Repair, and to my pleasant surprise, they were able to start it up. There may be life in it yet.

What's this vintage bike auction?

Sad that it went, but it sounds like it went to another new rider? It's a good bike for that purpose. Good luck finding your next lovely bike, it's always fun getting a new one! (I would suggest, go test drive a bunch before the auction, so you get a feel for several different types of bike and what want most in your next bike)

Yeah, I sold it to my old neighbor who just got her endorsement last week, though I think she had her permit for a year or so previously. So, not a brand-new rider, but her first bike. She was already talking about degreasing the engine and tuning it up and fixing the seat, so I think it went to a good home. She'd been on me a year to sell it to her, whenever she ran into me around the building, and was sooooo excited that I finally caved.
