Construction on last-minute project has commenced. Made some good progress today.

I hope this is not a horribly silly/ill-fated/selfish endeavor.

But even if it is... well, what the hell. It's really fun to be building something with S4.

OT - Goggles Pickup?

The place that can make me goggles - heavyglare.com - is in St.Paul/Min

If I ask them to order the frames I _really_ want, the frames will arrive Friday or Monday, and they would make them Monday - Wednesday, perhaps as late as Thursday or Friday the 25th.


What day are you leaving for playa? Is there a chance you could pick them up and bring them? Not sure of their street address.

Reasonable? Unreasonable? Should I just go with a frame they have?

Might work... We leave on Saturday the 26th. Looks like they're not too far from my stomping grounds. Lemme know- if they're cool with a pickup and paid for and stuff, I'll be happy to get them and find ya, though Friday'd be a close call, depending on their hours. I'm planning to work on Friday... We drive straight through and get to the playa on Monday morning.
