Couldn't sleep last night. hate that. Just hedging a bet, here, but I'd say the afri + coffee I had with dinner around 9:30-10:00 to try and lure my nagging headache away didn't help that any. That, and when I'm laying around trying to be unconcious my brain likes to start to worry about all the little piddly things it likes to worry about that I'm generally good at ignoring during the day.
Went to the Hard Times for the first time in a long time last night. Now that I've been out of school for a while and I'm out of the Pirate house, it feels weird being on the west bank. I feel...old. I feel some days my body and brain, not to mention my finances, haven't quite recovered from being in a college environment after it consumed my existence for such a long time. I wish I had more to show for my college education than debt, a lot of the time.
Rented The Wrong Guy last night, starring Dave Foley. It was really ridiculous, in a good way. Got a nice little cameo from Kevin McDonald, too. heehee.

Date: 2003-03-12 09:07 am (UTC)I can quite honestly say that my finanaical downward spiral can be directly linked to going to the U. So much time spent no working at a real, decent paying job while at the same time accruing lotsa debt leaves a person with one hell of a valley to tey and crawl up out of. Throw in the lack of employment opportunities and HOLY Shit!
Still, there are people far worse off unfortunately.
I'm still living in a cool place, with good friends, and can generally afford to go out and have fun even if it does involve some creative bill payment accounting. ;)
