I signed up for hourcar today. A little research suggets it will save us some money compared to keeping a second car around (parking fees and insurance add up!) I'm curious to see how it works out, and kinda excited about the prospect of running my errands in a nifty little hybrid.

Glad to see all the interest in HOURCAR. If anyone has questions, please feel free to contact me. The cars are great, and much cheaper than owning a vehicle. If you use Metro Transit for routine trips (like commuting) HOURCAR works really well to fill in the gaps and provide flexible, spontaneous transport to where you want to go. We have plans that easily beat the pants off Zipcar. We also allow you to purchase a customized plan of monthly drive-time which can save you tons of money.
