Work was really, really stupid today. My boss is an amazingly strange and incredibly difficult person to work with/around. Among the most unsettling things goin' 'round at my job is the rumor that we are not getting spring reviews, which would mean I'm not getting any sort of raise, even though I got kinda shafted on my last one and even since then have taken on boatloads of new responsibilities (in part based on expectation of recompense come this spring...) If this turns out to be true, and not just hearsay, it may unfortuantely be worth ditching my cool coworkers for something that pays more. 'Cause yeah, that job market is soooo flush right now... (sigh)
