Minneapolis is ranked the US's "most literate city"; St. Paul comes in 3rd.

Seattle was #1 in 2005, w/ Mpls being #2.

Ah. They only considered cities over 250,000. That's why it doesn't jive with experience for me.

It'd be interesting to look at regions or smaller towns and see how they fair per capita against the larger and each other. I suspect our little slice of paradise would be right up there if pitted against other towns our size, at least on the library and internet front (bookstores, not so good).

Atlanta? I never would've guessed they'd make the list. Hell, I think I would've picked Huston over Atlanta.
