Two things coming up in spacebug-land that all y'all should know about:

Thing One-
It is time for roller derby. The season opener is on Sunday night, at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. It will be fun. You should go. More details here.

Thing Two-
I am playing for the Spark Festival on Wednesday the 27th. Music starts at 9pm and I go on about 10:45. The nightlife series is happening at the Nomad World Pub, 501 Cedar Ave S. The Spark festival is huge and cool and (mostly) free, so check it out: http://spark.cla.umn.edu/

Completely unrelated to these things, I am ready for warmer weather now. This winter has been very very cold, even by native Minnesotan standards. It was cold enough that the car did not start today and I had to reschedule my dentist appointment. Blah. I yanked out the battery and it's sitting on a charger, and hopefully this will coax it into letting me take the car to another thing this afternoon.

hey, do you and your mister have plans for Thursday the 21st? because I won some tickets on the radio for a show I think you'd like but might not bother with otherwise, and since I know the guys who are promoting it and don't want to steal their ticket sales, I'd like to give them to someone who would otherwise not have gone. Hmm... I will think on it, but... that is the last derby practice before the bout, and, god, I must be getting old, 'cause having a headliner start at midnight is getting late for this young lady on a school night. But it would be nice to see you.
