worked a bit on derby stuff

Want to get some music work done, yet, but it's been a really nice, low-key-yet-productive day.
We went to the grocery store yesterday, so food is all kinds of exciting again, what with the bread and tofu scramble with a lot of vegetables in it. Juice! Fancy cheese and crackers! Hummus! Tofurkey! Oh boy! I made cookies yesterday, too.

Tax refund looks considerable, for me (provided I did everything correctly... grown-up crap like pseudohome ownership and having an IRA for the first time make things more complicated); and apparently I overpaid my state taxes last year by over $200 (huh?) so I'm getting that back, and also qualified for the rebate. Yay! Maybe I really can afford to get myself a new computer!

Pinky is still swollen and hurty. Wah. I'm also already feeling sore from the bout last night, which means it will be worse tomorrow. I'm glad we have a little bit more time before the next one.
