Noooo, not the 'Shack again...

I keep thinking I'm done buying components for this ringer circuit, and then finding out I missed getting another resistor I needed. I really thought I had a 10 ohm just laying around, and I do not. I hope I get the thing to work at the end of the day, without frying something or electrocuting myself. It's the first circuit I've ever tried to make other than LED strings or bending, and it's a pretty huge leap from that. This thing has capacitors, switching diodes, a timer IC, a transformer, a transistor, and an amount of voltage to be respected. I'm intimidated, but feel like I'm learning a lot, which was most of the impetus to make this thing in the first place. The part of the project that I'm much more attached to as part of the art project (getting samples to play through the phone speaker when you press the buttons) was almost ridiculously easy. I'd also like to streamline the power for all the sound modules (right now they each run on two button batteries- I'd like to link all of them together with a common power supply.) I think that should be easy, but I'm not quite sure the best way to go about it. Those are the most expensive part, so I don't want to wreck them.
Hey, Bitwise, you have spring break next week, right? Would you mind being my idiot check before I plug this thing in? You'd get some beer, the chance to laugh at my ignorance, and my gratitude out of the deal, at the very least...
