I think there's a small chance that by the time the Art Crawl wraps up I will be sort of insane.

A long time ago I had this idea for an art installation that was like a sound coffin- a very small, dark, solitary cell of some kind with multiple audio channels. I don't have time to make this, but I think it might come in really handy.

Were you thinking like a sensory deprivation tank? Or more like an actual coffin-like box?

Well, when I first had the idea it wasn't connected to feeling a little overwhelmed, I just thought it'd be cool. I'd love to collaborate sometime! My first idea was an actual coffin-like box, but what I thought about this morning that I like better is a box big enough for one person, maybe just enough space to sit cross-legged, with a submarine-type porthole door at the top and a little ladder on the outside and inside.

Ever see Altered States? Make sure you take some experimental psychedelics while you're in the tank so you can regress to a more primitive, violent state. Ha!
