I found a box of my stuff that hasn't seen light of day for a while because my weird temporary living situations. Looking through it, I found some interesting stuff.

-newspapers and postcards from my first year in Black Rock City
-photos and papers from living in London
-notes from two ex boyfriends
-lengthy letter from a friend who moved and I've since lost touch
-scraps of paper with melodies from my head scrawled hastily on them
-envelope with the best quote I don't remember writing down from Dr. Nick, my old bandmate:

That's what art is- taking something out of its normal context and exposing it to power tools.
