Today, I went with my brother to Mom's house. We ate lunch on her patio and I brought boxes of stuff home. My grandma was there and my brother was there and my Dad made a cameo appearance. We had apple pie for dessert and on the whole, it was really nice. I have now hung up my long-awaited glow-in-the-dark star mobile. It makes me inordintely happy to have this in my living space again for reasons I can't articulate. Thanks, celias! Then I was offered free tickets to the omnitheatre with a bunch of people I like a lot. Thanks, alis! Echoegami came with me, and then we went to Chang oharas for dinner, and then Echoegami and I went dancing at Kobalt. (hint: the way to make echoegami come out and play is to not let her have time to turn you down.) Star5 and noise dj'ed, and s4 did video, so as the only Cali or Scott not officially participating, I danced and drank and spun some poi.
Then I broke one again. Damnit.
I was called by the union, but I didn't answer my phone, because I'm going to the corn maze instead. Hah! I only have one full weekend away from work and you will not take it away!! Even if you want me to get paid $17/hr to build a half pipe at the Xcel enter! Not on corn maze day, when I'm already sore from your blasted bridal fair!

Okay, so anyway, I had a very nice day off and now I need to go to sleep.

Corn maze?! Oh boy! I haven't done the Sever's corn maze this year. Which would be the first year in quite a while that I would have missed it.
In fact, I was considering not going- tell me: is it worth it this year?

They did the exact same design as last year. This was kind of disappointing until we talked to Sever himself, who was really really cool, and had some good reasons for keeping it the way it was this year.
