This afternoon, s4 and I moved our living room furniture around.
Even though there's a lot of things that still have to be put where they need to go and there's still boxes of crap around, I am soo much happier! It's weird. It makes me think there may be something to feng shui...

If my spaces aren't tidy (efficient) then I need to waste creative energy doing things like "cleaning". Not a good use thereof.
A good change of furniture helps to alleviate feelings of stagnation caused by the same-old-same-old state of everything. Even if it's not better (and as long as it's not worse), it's at least different. When I re-arranged the laboratory last week, I started feeling better about it. But that re-arrangement was also definitely an improvement over the previous state.
(Ya' going to the pirate house birthday party tonight? I understand Nick has a keg of Guinness. That he's probably drinking right now!)
