I just purchased over 100 LEDs online from two different places. Yep. I'll let y'all know when they get here.

Weekend was busier than I anticipated, even though I didn't get to do everything I wanted, around the house or otherwise. I missed both Windy's party and Kobalt. I suck.

Friday I went down to Acadia to see Miss Snizz herself,[livejournal.com profile] doloresdewberry, and missed her. I got there at about 7:20 and she'd started promptly at 7 and played about a 20 minute set. Dang! But then I stayed for Janek Shaffer and enjoyed the loopy droneyness, and then we all headed out to Grumpy's for adult beverages and greasy food. [livejournal.com profile] r4c and I totally sucked at pinball for a good stretch, [livejournal.com profile] s4 met us, and much amusement was had by all. I'd planned on windelina's party, but was well enough worn out by not sleeping much during my week that we just went home instead.
Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] dangerdhotrod got us up early for a trip to the big electronics store that closes at noon. Silly store. He got a big yellow power supply, s4 got some cables, and I enjoyed looking at big weird cases and huge rolls of heatshrink tubing, but didn't buy anything. Then we headed to the triple rock for breakfast, and were joined eventually by [livejournal.com profile] birdfigment and my big brother (who were expected), and also by [livejournal.com profile] djnoise and [livejournal.com profile] rahna, who were unexpected. Also ran into two of my bead store ladies who also live in my building, though I never see them there. We ate lots of breakfast, then we shot lots of zombies, and then we went to the Science Museum to see robots, where we also happened into [livejournal.com profile] alisgray.
Then I heard my Low Orbit's name mentioned on Radio K, 'cause we're playing this weekend. The novelty of this made me stupid and giggly.
Joe and figment and s4 and I then went for Valentine's dinner with my Mom, which was very good. Dad stopped by, too, so it was nice to see him as well. We ate too much and then got sleepy, and so neglected to go to Kobalt.

Sunday I went with s4 to work. Then I went to the bookstore, and then I went home. Shortly thereafter, s4 wanted to come home from work about 4 hours early, so I went back down to Southdale to fetch him. Sunday drivers drove like idiots, and then I was consoled with awful-wonderful-craving-quenching Crappy Mall Pizza (tm) and an ice cream cone. Then [livejournal.com profile] r4c helped me with our supercool performance-wear for our upcoming shows (We have upcoming shows!), and then since sci-fi was cancelled we got folks together for games instead. [livejournal.com profile] pants_of_doom, [livejournal.com profile] vaxjo, [livejournal.com profile] dangerdhotrod all came over and played most of a game of Illuminati. Then I went to sleep.

...and then I completely neglected to get my laundry washed.

What're doing with all those LEDs again?

I have this fantasy about switching all the red ones on my keyboard for pretty blue ones.

Mostly giving them to other people who wanted them. But the ones that I'm keeping, I'm building into my sculpture. The leftovers will likely go to burning man projects I haven't devised yet.
