I got to work at 8. I did a few work things that probably took about 15 minutes. My coworker who always has extra things to do is on vacation, and my boss is doing complicated things that can't be parsed out to us.
I read all of ed's room and my friends list already.
I've begun making sketches, trying to get the complicated metal sculpture I have pictured in my head out of my head and onto paper. I've been researching the math behind pitching chimes (I want it to be a sound sculpture), researching how to make gears work (I want it to be a kinetic sculpture), and tried to price pipe at home depot where I plan on running after work and before class (the website wouldn't let me).
It's only 10:13.
(sigh)
Anyone have websites they think I should know about or read or look at?
UPDATE!
I got a big steamin' pile of scholarship rejection letters to stamp, fold, label, stuff, and send out and crush the spirits of young hopefuls! I no longer need the internet to entertain me for a while. Thanks for the input, guys, I'm sure it will be handy again soon.

Date: 2004-04-15 09:09 am (UTC)I also read my usual batch of comics today - only today's strips, though. (Sluggy Freelance, Kevin & Kell, 9 Chickweed Lane, For Better Or For Worse, Get Fuzzy, & Something Positive.)
I feel kinda bad about this.
