spacebugGot a job interview next week for a job I think I'd like a lot. I thought I'd have more of a vacation than this, but if it panned out I definitely wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd do a hooray-I'm-employed happy dance. This is for the non-temporary, freak-friendly sounding job that has less of a chance of conflicting with Burning Man, and it's in Minneapolis instead of over the river in Shelbyville. Woo. So, send me your mental good tidings on Tuesday morning, y'all.

If I either get a new job or qualify for unemployment, I'm seriously considering caving and getting a laptop. And now s4 is doing a damn good job of attempting to convert me to Macintosh. The fact that he can get me a nicey discount from the Apple Store is making the whole price thing almost a nonissue, and that was one of the main reasons for staying on the PC side of the fence. Sharing files with musician collaborators was another, but there are workarounds for that...
