Feeling unproductive. Which is kind of maddening, as I have Stuff To Do! I think right after I post this I will get out of my jammies, do some laundry, eat some lunch, and attempt to feel like a real human being.

The place I sent my resume last week called me back yesterday, so I called them this morning and have an interview/meeting thing set up for Thursday. Yay! (Okay, at least one productive thing done today.) It would be freelance audio stuff. Not a regular job, but nothing to sneeze at, either. And it's a perfect time to try and do freelance stuff, since I'll still have UI and some modest savings to fall back on.

s4 and I went to the cheap theatre and saw Hidalgo last night. Viggo makes a great cowboy. I really enjoyed it- it was kind of like a bizarre love child of Dances With Wolves and Indiana Jones. Well worth $2, at any rate, and my girly horsey freak liked it for all the pretty horses in it.

Good luck on the job!

It would suck if you lost unemployment due to getting paid for an hour or two at the new gig... might be a good idea to check on that.

I've already done a union gig, which is similar. I have to report how much I make, and they deduct half of whatever I make from my check, and then it extends the amount of time I can get benefits a bit longer.
