So I was poking around online, just about ready to turn in, when Sweet comes blasting up from an apartment downstairs (I'm blaming 40-year-old punk rocker and ex-coworker J for this one) with "Piece of the Action". It made me miss Bill, who's all back in Cincinatti along with Thaad's older sister, 'cause he used to bring their greatest hits into the store and play it as we put beads in bags together.

Ah, memories.

Anyway. I'm in a state of mind that hearing Sweet's greatest hits at 3:30 in the morning right as I'm thinking of going to sleep just really amuses me in a wrong kind of way, and thought I'd share the humor and the pain.

Bill's the only person who ever managed to wake me up out of a dead sleep by doing Tai Chi. He'd do it in the morning in the living room at 2321 and it never failed to get me awake despite being silent. Other people have tried loud music and slapping me to wake me up, but apparently only Tai Chi works.
