Post one of your memories about me.
It can be anything you want.
Then post this into your journal.
See what people remember about you.

Honestly, I'm curious, guys. Go on.

I remember when I met you, you had hair a mile long. I gave you some of my zines and felt guilty afterwards because I felt like I was corrupting a kid. I met your brother (recently back from Africa), and wandered around Bloomington in some park.

You were a sweet kid. Still are. Minus the 'kid' part.

A.

You have access to the brain, just reach in and remember.

I think I first really *noticed* you at Kelvin's birthday party. I don't remember the specifics, but I remember you were talking about sound, and seemed really cool, and I thought "I have to get to know her better". Which I then proceeded to not do so much.
I should really, but I'm in such a funky place right now that I'm hermitizing. When I am more comfortable, I would like to spend some time with you talking about sculptures and casting and music and sound and art and other stuff...

:)

Jeez, now that you ask I realize I've racked up lots of 'em.

I remember you sitting on the floor in the basement giggling too hard to play your clarinet.
I remember you standing in the kitchen dressed as a harlequin.
I remember you lurching upright to tell me that you're "hetero..shexual."
I remember discovering that you are the only other person I know who saw that one comic w/ the puppet... "ha ha..."
I remember you in the passenger seat reaching for the door that suddenly swung open on the freeway entrance ramp somewhere between here and New York state.
I remember you in stripey clothes.
I remember telling you you should get a haircut like a fraggle when you were thinking (for a year or more) about cutting your beautiful long hair.
I remember you with long hair.
I remember you teaching my daughter to play piano.
I remember you getting annoyed with me because I couldn't find "the one."
I remember you being happy about the idea of living w/ me :P
I remember thinking that you're pretty cool.

Out of all these little bits and pieces I re-member you in my heart and mind and love you.

Come to that, I remember both of you in a hotel room drunkenly wavering between hilarity and despondance, and I wasn't gaining any ground with either of you. I don't remember how that night ended.

huh...

Seriously. I believe this was at Matt & Sharon's wedding, something like that. We were all hanging out at a hotel after the reception. I can't think of any other reason we'd all be out there like that.

Oh. You're right!
That's it. I've got to get a recorder of some sort that's better than my brain, it's had it.

I remember you walking by our camp in a GIR jacket and being really happy and friendly and when I falgged you down and interrogated you about it. I also remember how helpful and supportive you were when I decided to make a GIR jacket for my daughter.

yay! I remember when you invited our camp over for fresh pesto, but we'd just eaten. Do you know where you're camping this year? I'll have to come and visit! We'll be somewhere near, loosely but not officially associated with the Image Node camp from NY, wherever they're ending up. I'll try to remember to leave a message for Kitte at Center Camp.

We will try to camp between 8:00 and 9:00 and Mars and Jupiter. We're shooting for 8:30.

Camp Love Potion, my old camp, and Rabbit Hole, have combined camps this year. I have proposed the name Camp Rabbit Potion Love Hole. ;D

I remember you onstage in a jumpsuit with glowy things on it, wearing headphones, nodding in time to something that I couldn't quite discern.

See? See? It's a fun game!

I remember at Minicon one year I was in the Artist's room and discussing a sample of manga on display with whomever I was with. I was geometrically projecting how huge eyes would become in future illustrations, surpassing over 75% of the skull. I felt a presence at my shoulder and turned around, and you were leaning in and staring at me with HUGE-HUGE eyes.

I remember the first time I saw your tattoo...of course, I think you remember that as well...

I remember you and I music theory geeking during Zurround practices and at other points afterwards...

I don't exactly remember the first time I met you, but I do remember the first time I heard you play sax...which was in Jj's place, and through alot of delay...I think I was won over at that point...

Oh, where to begin... with my favorite one!

While wandering around the Centennial Lakes movie theater &c. I saw a flight of stairs and asked, "where do there stairs go?".

Of course you said, "they go up."

I remember meeting you at a party at the pirate house. You were wearing a blue chinese-style dress, and looked very funky-glamorous. Your brother embarassed me horribly.

I remember playing with Legos at Christmas. And watching comedy. Hooray! That was so cool.

I have a heck of a lot more memories of you, but I don't have time to type them all right now. Let's say that most of them involve you being creative, enjoying hanging out with you and your family, and ... well, you being pretty cool.

Looking forward to your visit.

hee! I remember you guys at the formal party! I don't even think he thought for a second he'd embarass you, that's the cute thing.
"This is Beth. Isn't she pretty?"

i remember pushing you into snowbanks, and playing king of the hill on the snow pile next to the parking ramp.

i remember sitting on the retaining wall with you, eating ben and jerry's in the rain.

i remember when we made a fort with all of the livingroom furniture.

i remember a fingerpaint fight while listening to cure remixes and drinking whiskey.

i remember when you were superexcited about the care package i'd sent you in london. it had fake money, burned music, a little stuffed bunny that wiggled around when you pulled a cord, and... i dunno, comic books?

Yep, comic books. An issue or two of Meatcake and Chi-Chian. And tootsie pops and a small bottle of dead bugs in alcohol. And it was addressed to Secret Agent, which was extra cool 'cause I had to go pick it up at the post office and the guy behind the counter looked at it and looked at me and said in a thick cockney accent, "Secret Agent, eh?"
