When I get back home

..I think that I really want to go and see a movie. I don't know what kind or anything, and I really don't much care. Probably something silly, and probably just me and S4. It feels like the only time we share together lately is the time it takes to say goodnight at night (when I'm still awake when he gets home) and the sleepy goodbye in the morning when I leave for work. Which is very little time at all. Ah, well, such as it is for now. I'm not so much complaining as observing. Got quite a bit finished tonight.

As I climbed the stairs to my apartment with my backpack full of fabric scraps and newly burned and labeled cds to give away and my box full of soldering and electronics things slung over my shoulder, clutching a spikey homemade jacket in one hand and a bank of newly soldered blinky LED's for my bicycle in the other, I really had an urge to sit in front of a screen and be entertained with no other thoughts for a couple hours.

I'm really looking forward to the drive, though.

I really love road trips.

Not that this has anything to do with what you just posted but I thought you'd be amused by the fact that t has discovered Invader Zim. She loves Gir and is quite adept at drawing pictures of him. I told her about the hoodie s4 made for you but I couldn't find a good picture of you in it.

Ah well. I'm going to finish up the pkg and get that to s4 tonight - is he closing at the apple store? (I hope)

hrm... that'll be cutting it close as I don't get out of DR until 7:30 but I should be able to catch him if I hurry. If I can't make it will you folks be at the disco tomorrow night? Ideally I'd rather get it to him tonight but if that doesn't pan out I need alternatives.

If you haven't seen it, iRobot (http://www.irobotmovie.com/) is a fun movie. One of those films where you don't have to think too hard... just sit back and be entertained. ;)

I saw it already. :) I had low expectations, and it exceeded them. It's good so long as you don't pay attention to the fact that it's supposed to have anything to do with Asimov or the product placements. Anyway, I enjoyed it.

Yeah, that's what I meant my entertainment. If you can ignore the supposed origins and the capitalistic hype, it's actually a pretty fun flick. :)
