Boring.

I'm going to talk about my job some more.

Still kinda stressful, still a bit overwhelming. But, my boss seems really competent, I really want to do a good job, and I really like the people I work with. All these things do a lot to make me feel good about working there. I was given some very good, fairly simple advice this week, and an assurance from my boss that too many questions are better than not enough. So. Work's okay, it's just busy. And that's better than being bored, anyway.

Haven't spent the time cleaning or just puttering around the house that I really want lately. Hope I can make that up this weekend.

Good to see folks for dinner tonight.

Now it's time to sit in bed and read and fall asleep, which I'm really looking forward to. It was amazingly difficult to leave the bed this morning. I had a comfy blanket and a snuggly boyfriend and the temperature was perfect for both of them. The rain made it darker than normal and made the nicest sounds to stay asleep to.

...but I got up anyway.

I had no snuggly boyfriend, but I did try sleeping out in the observatory because it was so rainy. I can't appreciate the rain properly in the bedroom proper for the lack of adequate windows. Unfortauntely, it was bright out there. And when the rain really started to pick up, the screen wasn't enough to keep the rain out.

Still, it was different. And I don't know if a snuggly boyfriend would have helped too much.
