Tried to get to work a little bit early so I could walk down the street, hope that there wasn't a queue out the door, and get the title transferred so my car, that Hennepin county STILL doesn't believe is insured properly, actually belongs to me and not my mother, which apparently has been the brunt of a lot of this crap. (S4 got another bill for a citation that should have been waived three weeks ago.) Unfortunately the DMV office that does those things in St. Paul closed in 2003, but the internet still thought it was open so so did I. Damn. By the time I walked back after finding it, I was 20 minutes late for work. I'd hoped if I was going to be late I'd at least have something to show for it. Bleh.
I guess I'll drive to the one in Bloomington tonight, I think they're open late on Thursdays.
I heart bureaucracy.

Date: 2004-10-14 08:50 am (UTC)If I'd known you were planning such a trip I could have warned you about the DMV office. I haven't bumped into you recently. My morning parking lot experience seems to be lacking recently. ;)

Date: 2004-10-14 09:52 am (UTC)I'm still working out a way I can vote, seeing how I don't exactly *have* a current address, or utility bills, or current ID to prove a damn thing for myself. And figuring out why the hell Time Warner won't cancel my cable tv and stop charging me for it, which turn out is likely because I haven't driven over there and gotten all up in thier face about it. Which I will do tomorrow morning.
Still on for lunch tomorrow? What time is best for you?
