Bleh.

Darnitall, but the cold is winning.
I'm already counting the hours 'til I get to go home, and the office hasn't even officially opened yet. My muscles are achey, my head is filled with snot, my tummy doesn't feel good because of the vitamins I gave it without any *real* breakfast, and I'm really, really tired.

I may have to give up and go home and go to bed, but I guess I'll wait until someone else even comes in to see what they think of that idea...

stoooopit ebay.

One of the costume pieces I ordered through ebay got all screwed up. I ordered it, but because of a misleading ad, I ordered the very wrong color. I told them about what had happened, unfortuantely right after they'd already shipped it to me. So, they ever so generously offered that I could buy the one I did want, which was up for auction, and they'd give me five dollars off. I asked, well, I really don't want two, so why can't I just send the one back and get the other in exchange- and since it really officially was my fault for getting the wrong color I said I'd have no problem paying to ship it back or pay for shipping on the right thing. They said fine. So, I sent it back with a check for extra postage, and now I haven't heard anything. That was almost two weeks ago. To top it off, their automated auction thing doesn't believe I bought the thing because I won't pay for it because I already paid for the first wrong-colored thing. Now I'm thinking I won't get what I want in time for Hallowe'en and I'll be sad. Just to thwart me, it'll probaby show up on Monday, right after I don't need it. Piffle. And they don't have a phone number listed anywhere, so I can't call them up and bother them about it or try to get priority shipping if they haven't sent it yet, all I can do is have another email ignored.

Bastards, who tout their customer service so, and stupid me for ordering the wrong thing in the first place.
*huff*

(no subject)

Nevermind about my co-worker's would-be cat.

I'm feeling like I worded things badly, making her sound like a financially irresponsible person who shouldn't own pets which wasn't what I was going for at all.

I was going to try and be nice, but maybe it's not as good an idea as it sounded like in my head.

Disregard the spacebug behind the curtain, and go back to your regularly scheduled lj.
